If you are in the mood for a dance, Valasranta (website only in Finnish) is the place for you. Located by the Pyhäjärvi lake about 7 km from the Kurala Manor, Valasranta is a center for ballroom dancing. Backed by a long tradition, the Valasranta stage was built 50 years ago. Especially the famous Saturday balls (weekly from early May to late September) are a popular attraction for more than 500 couples weekly who come to enjoy the unique atmosphere and popular artists.
